The Avenue (Hirtes Corner) and Franklin Road Pumping Stations.

As many of you are aware, North Fambridge has experienced difficulties with the sewer system resulting in blockages and flooding particularly in Franklin Road, Fambridge Road and the Avenue.

The Parish Council submitted a report about these problems to OFWAT which was accepted as a true picture of the situation and a well-researched document. They also recently had a meeting with a representative from OFWAT (Office of the Director General of Water Services) to discuss these problems.

Further evidence of flooding and blockages needs to be collected. In order to provide this documentary evidence the Parish Council has produced a monitoring sheet for residents to complete when they have a problem. These can be handed to the Parish Clerk or one of the Parish Councillors. With this evidence we will be able to take the complaint further. An example of the monitoring sheet can be downloaded here.
